Laundry Attendant

Join the Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha as a Laundry Attendant. This role involves attending to all laundry and dry-cleaning operations, following hotel standards and procedures. You will manage linen and uniform flows, ensure proper care of textiles, and operate laundry machinery. Responsibilities also include safe chemical handling, maintaining a clean workspace, and reporting equipment issues. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in vocational hospitality and 1-3 years of experience in a 4-5 star hotel.

Must Have

• Attend all laundry and dry-cleaning operations following hotel standards.
• Follow linen and uniform laundry flows and established cycles.
• Possess full knowledge of textiles and their proper care.
• Use all machines and equipment with proper knowledge, care, and maintenance.
• Handle and store chemicals with proper care, using correct formulas and safety regulations.
• Immediately report any damage or malfunctioning in laundry equipment or operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and and orderliness of the working area and stores.
• Ensure proper handling of lost and found items.
• Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality.
• 1-3 years experience in a 4-5 star hotel.

Job Description

• To have a full knowledge of all the textiles and their proper care.
• To use all the machines and equipment with proper knowledge, care and maintenance.
• To handle and store chemicals with proper care, and to use correct formulas, following all healthy and safety regulations.
• To immediately report to superior any damage or malfunctioning in the laundry equipment or operations, including linen and uniforms status.
• To maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the working area and stores.
• To ensure proper handling of lost and found items.

Qualifications
