Seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Product Architect/Engineer to drive the design, development, and governance of data products and platforms. This role involves serving as a technical and architectural leader, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions that power analytics, AI/ML, and digital products. Key responsibilities include defining enterprise data architecture, designing data flows, developing data models, and promoting data-as-a-product principles.
Must have:
  • Define and evolve the enterprise data architecture aligned to business and analytical needs
  • Design and review end-to-end data flows, from ingestion to consumption
  • Develop scalable data models (dimensional, relational, and denormalized)
  • Lead design and delivery of reusable, governed data products with clear ownership and SLAs
  • Implement data product lifecycle management (design, versioning, deprecation, etc.)
  • Build and optimize batch and streaming pipelines using tools such as Airflow, Spark, and Kafka
  • Own cloud-native architecture for data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Ensure robust DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code
  • Define standards for data quality, lineage, documentation, and observability
  • Implement data access control, encryption, masking, and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Partner with governance teams to integrate metadata management and cataloging tools
  • Collaborate with business, product, data science, and engineering teams to align on goals and roadmap
  • Provide technical mentorship to data engineers and review solution designs
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive architectural decisions
  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture roles
  • Strong expertise in SQL, Python, and modern data modeling techniques
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Deep knowledge of data warehousing technologies (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
  • Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow and ETL tool like AWS Glue
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, lineage, and observability practices
Good to have:
  • Experience with real-time data streaming (Kafka, Flink, Spark Streaming)
  • Knowledge of data contracts and APIs (e.g., OpenAPI, GraphQL, gRPC)
  • Familiarity with data catalogs (e.g., Alation, Amundsen, Collibra)
  • Exposure to MLOps and integration with ML pipelines
  • Understanding of data mesh principles and federated data ownership models

Lead Data Product Architect / Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Product Architect/Engineer to drive the design, development, and governance of our data products and platform. In this role, you will serve as a technical and architectural leader, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions that power analytics, AI/ML, and digital products.

Role Description & Responsibilities

  • Data Architecture & Solution Design
  • Define and evolve the enterprise data architecture aligned to business and analytical needs
  • Design and review end-to-end data flows, from ingestion to consumption
  • Develop scalable data models (dimensional, relational, and denormalized) to support business use cases
  • Data Product Leadership
  • Lead design and delivery of reusable, governed data products with clear ownership and SLAs

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture roles

  • Deep knowledge of data warehousing technologies (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
