TapNation is seeking a results-driven freelance Lead Monetization Manager to oversee a portfolio of around 20 mobile games. This role involves optimizing Ad revenue and In-App Purchase (IAP) strategies to increase Average Revenue Per Daily Active Users (ARPDAU) and Lifetime Value (LTV). The manager will analyze ad monetization stacks, implement A/B tests, and collaborate with various teams to drive incremental LTV improvements and IAP revenue growth for casual titles.
Must have:
  • Deeply analyze waterfall and bidding ad monetization stack for every ad format.
  • Provide recommendations for optimizations to increase ARPDAU and LTV.
  • Review and change price floor strategy of traditional ad networks.
  • Review country targeting and pricing strategy at a granular geo level.
  • Test latency and number of ad impression per user.
  • Work in close collaboration with User Acquisition, Motion Design, Creative, and Publishing teams.
  • A/B test ad impressions frequencies, rewarded video placements and incentives, In-App purchases placements and pricing.
  • Constantly test optimizations via A/B tests on the mediation platform.
  • Track results via a shared tracker document.
  • Work closely with Product & Publishing teams to create and test new monetization strategies.
  • Become the driver of IAP experiments and analysis to grow IAP revenue.
  • Challenge our Data team by looking at monetization metrics in a new way.

Role Overview đź‘€

Under the management of our Chief Marketing Officer, as a Monetization Manager you will oversee a portfolio of around 20 games. You will work in collaboration with 3 monetization managers on Ad revenue & IAP optimization in order to increase our games ARPDAU & LTV.

We are looking for a person with experience with casual games, ideally with deep understanding not only of ad monetization but also IAP monetization, product monetization and a good grasp of data analytics.

By working in the Monetization Division, your missions will be:

  • Deeply analyze our waterfall and bidding ad monetization stack for every ad format (banner, rewarded video, interstitial) and provide recommendations for optimizations.
  • Find improvement levers in order to increase our Average Revenue Per Daily Active users and Lifetime Value.
  • This will consist in reviewing and changing the price floor strategy of our traditional ad networks, as well as reviewing the country targeting and pricing strategy at a granular geo level. You will also test the latency and number of ad impression per user by adding/removing calls in the waterfalls.
  • Work in close collaboration with the User Acquisition, Motion Design, Creative, and Publishing teams on new and existing games to provide monetization recommendations: A/B test ad impressions frequencies, rewarded video placements and incentives, In-App purchases placements and pricing, etc.
  • Constantly test your optimizations via A/B tests on the mediation platform in order to measure the exact ARPDAU impact and the results at the country level of the changes. You will keep track of those results via a shared tracker document.
  • Work closely with Product & Publishing teams to create and test new monetization strategies that will unlock incremental LTV improvements (ex: ad placements, user segmentations, cohorts, ad frequency, and retention…).
  • Become the driver of IAP experiments and analysis to grow IAP revenue for TapNation’s casual titles (country pricing segmentation, user profiling, and custom pricing).
  • Challenge our Data team by looking at monetization metrics in a new way that will allow us to uncover better revenue opportunities.

Profile:

  • You have a passion for games, particularly mobile games.
  • Result-driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have a clear data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent analytical skills and full proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge in data analytics language is a plus: Python, SQL.
  • 2+ years of experience in Lead Monetization, in gaming preferred.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economics, Business or Engineering.
  • Complete fluency in English, both written and orally.
  • Experience working with IAP setup and optimization.
  • Experience working with Product Monetization.
  • Experience in team management.
