We are seeking a Mendix developer with a passion for empowering other developers, particularly in building intelligent, AI-powered applications. This role involves creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences that guide developers in effectively using generative AI within the Mendix platform. Responsibilities include developing tutorials, practical exercises, and guided projects to connect platform innovation with real-world application. You will collaborate closely with Mendix R&D teams focused on AI capabilities to ensure content is relevant, technically accurate, and valuable to the developer community. The work aims to bridge the gap between platform advancements and practical developer usage.
Must have:
- 3+ years of Mendix development experience
- Strong interest/experience in generative AI

Good to have:

About the Role:
We’re looking for a Mendix developer who’s passionate about helping other developers succeed—especially in building intelligent, AI-powered applications. In this role, you’ll create high-impact, hands-on learning experiences that show developers how to use generative AI effectively within the Mendix platform. From tutorials and practical exercises to guided projects, your work will help bridge the gap between platform innovation and real-world application.
You’ll collaborate closely with Mendix R&D teams—particularly those building AI capabilities—to ensure the content you deliver is relevant, technically sound, and immediately useful to the developer community. You can find most of our components in the Mendix marketplace, they are showcased in this app and can be used through Mendix Cloud GenAI Resource Packs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create Hands-On Learning Experiences: Build practical tutorials, guided projects, and exercises that show developers how to use AI tools and components in Mendix.
- Translate Innovation into Practice: Work with our AI platform development team to understand new features and translate them into clear, usable learning journeys.
- Keep Learning Relevant: Ensure learning materials reflect real-world developer needs and project scenarios—not just product functionality.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with technical writers, product managers, and expert developers to create a seamless and consistent learning experience across documentation, training, and support resources.
- Experiment with Formats: Help test and evolve new formats like interactive labs, embedded Studio Pro guides, or challenge-based learning to make technical content more engaging and memorable.
- Stay Close to the Developer Experience: Gather feedback from users, review performance data, and iterate on content to improve clarity, depth, and usability.
What You Bring:
- 3+ years of Mendix development experience (Advanced certification strongly preferred)
- Strong interest or experience in generative AI, including LLMs, prompting, or AI service integration
- Proven ability to create technical content that resonates with developers—such as tutorials, example apps, or project walkthroughs
- A practical mindset focused on enabling others to do things, not just understand them
- Familiarity with the Mendix ecosystem, development best practices, and the challenges developers face in real projects
- Collaborative and curious, with a willingness to dive into new tools, topics, or technologies as needed
