Job Summary
OSome Studio is looking for a Level / Game Designer with a focus on Level Design for a 3D third-person action-adventure game. The role involves designing dynamic, vertical, and aerial levels that emphasize movement and replayability, as well as structuring and organizing game mechanics. The ideal candidate will create raw levels, define gameplay experiences, formalize Gameplay Elements, and collaborate with tech and art teams to align game feel, spaces, composition, and mechanics.
Must Have
- Proficiency with games involving speed, grappling hook, swinging, momentum maintenance, and fast movements
- Excellent mastery of Level Design: composition, pacing, navigation, volume management
- Confirmed competence on projects involving verticality or aerial movements
- Mastery of Unreal Engine 5 for LD integration
- In-depth knowledge of 3C in third-person
- Very good understanding of Game Design: systems, mechanics, loops, intentions

- Strong autonomy and sense of structure
- Notions in Blueprint appreciated (simple adjustments, light prototyping)
- Clear and structured communication
- Creativity and keen sense of player experience

Do you master aerial parkour games, speed acquisition, and advanced mobility mechanics? Are vertical environments and fast movements your playground? This position is for you.
As part of the development of a 3D third-person action-adventure game, we are looking for a Level Designer / Game Designer (with a dominant LD focus) capable of:
- Designing dynamic, vertical, and aerial levels, emphasizing movement and replayability.
- Structuring and organizing project mechanics.
MAIN MISSIONS
- Design raw levels "controller in hand" defining the game experience and enhancing mobility.
- Create reference levels for each gameplay situation (objectives, loops, micro-challenges...).
- Formalize, organize, and structure Gameplay Elements (GPE) to ensure their consistency and reusability.
- Participate in document writing.
- Collaborate with tech and art departments to align game feel, spaces, composition, and mechanics.
