Job Summary
Job Description
As a Localization Quality Assurance (LQA) Game Tester with German, you will be responsible for identifying and correcting translation errors, spelling mistakes, and ambiguities in games. You will also check the game's tone, style, audio, text, and cultural correctness. Additionally, you will create reports using Excel and Jira, and provide suggestions for improvement based on the errors you find. This role involves working remotely on flexible projects with a casual contract. Must have:
- German language proficiency at C2 level or native.
- English language proficiency at C1 level for communication and reporting.
- Excellent knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Good MS Office skills, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and under time pressure.
Good to have:
- Passion for gaming and curiosity for new titles.
- Experience in game testing, translation, or linguistic game testing.
- Familiarity with platforms like Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, and Apple.

Job Details
Join our Localization Quality Assurance department and be responsible for:
- Finding and correcting any translation errors, spelling mistakes and ambiguities.
- Checking the game’s tone and style, audio, text, and cultural correctness.
- Creating reports in Excel and Jira.
- Submitting quality improving suggestions for the errors you find.
- German C2 level or native.
- English C1 level to ensure internal communication and reporting.
- Perfect knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation of your language.
- Good MS Office skills, especially Excel.
- Great communication skills allowing to express yourself precise and clearly.
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure of time.
You can score extra points for:
- Passion for gaming and curiosity for new titles (all types of games count!).
- Experience in game testing, translation, or linguistic game testing.
- Familiarity of platforms like Sony (PS4/PS5), Microsoft (PC, Xbox One/XSX/XSS), Nintendo (Switch), Apple (iOS).
