Job Summary
APM Terminals is seeking a Maintenance Auxiliary for its Infrastructure team in Pecém. The role involves supporting infrastructure maintenance activities, ensuring smooth operations and safety. Responsibilities include preparing and painting surfaces, performing hydraulic maintenance and repairs, masonry work, cleaning, and assisting with material transport. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, experience with basic tools and safety norms, a Category B driver's license, NR35 certification, and a strong Lean mindset for continuous improvement.
Must Have
- Prepare and paint surfaces of buildings, container yards, metal structures, and equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and hydraulic repairs on building equipment and accessories
- Execute masonry work, concrete, and other materials based on drawings and specifications
- Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks in various environments and assist with material transport
- Inform supervisor about equipment/component replacement or repair needs
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the work area
- Ensure work area is safe from fire hazards
- Perform oil changes, filter replacements, painting, cleaning, and washing of equipment
- Lubricate and grease moving parts of equipment
- High school diploma
- Experience with basic tools, safety standards, and safe material handling
- Category B driver's license
- Mandatory NR35 – Small Forklift Operator course
- Strong Lean mindset for continuous improvement

We are looking for a Maintenance Auxiliary to join our Infrastructure team at the Pecém terminal. If you want to work in a dynamic, collaborative, and safe environment, this is the ideal opportunity! Main responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces of buildings, container yards, metal structures, equipment, or other surfaces and apply layers of paint or similar products;
- Perform preventive maintenance and hydraulic repairs on equipment and accessories of buildings;
- Execute masonry, concrete, and other material works, guided by drawings, schemes, and specifications, using necessary processes and instruments to build, reform, or repair structures.
- Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks in various environments, in addition to assisting in the transport of various materials.
- Inform the supervisor when equipment/components need to be replaced or repaired due to wear or malfunction;
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the area where activities are being carried out;
- Develop other activities of the same nature and degree of complexity, according to the requests of the area Manager.
- Keep the work area safe from fire hazards;
- Perform oil changes, filter replacements, painting, cleaning, and washing of equipment;
- Lubricate and grease the moving parts of the equipment.
What talent are we looking for?
- Education: Complete high school.
- Experience: Experience in operations involving the use of basic tools, application of safety standards, and safe material handling practices, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
- Driver's License: Category B.
- Mandatory courses: NR35 – Small Forklift Operator.
