Job Description

This Maintenance Engineer role focuses on establishing a Zero Breakdown concept, ensuring PM adherence, and managing critical spares procurement. Key responsibilities include reducing unplanned maintenance, improving equipment uptime, preparing and adhering to PM master plans, and providing essential services like air, water, and electricity. The role also involves critical spare parts management, implementing new facilities for projects, and ensuring compliance with PMD-related legal requirements and certifications. The engineer will monitor Easy track requests, implement actions, and follow ISO standards (9001, 14001, OHSAS 45001, 50001 EnMS) to enhance HSE performance. Additionally, the position is responsible for machinery and equipment maintenance, establishing AMCs for critical equipment, planning layout changes, and managing maintenance expenditure within budget. The role also involves implementing TPM/LBS and facility maintenance, with direct people management of 4 employees and budget responsibility.

  • Provide services like air, water, electricity, etc., without intermission.
  • Critical spare parts Management.
  • Implement new facilities for any project requirement.
  • Responsible for PMD Related Legal Requirements & certification.
  • Monitoring Easy track request in maintenance and implementing actions.
  • Implement & follow ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 45001, ISO 50001 EnMS system procedures.
  • Responsible for machinery and equipment’s preventive / predictive maintenance.
  • Establish AMC for critical equipment.
  • Planning and Implementation of Layout changes.
  • Improve equipment uptime by reducing breakdown hours.
  • Energy Conservation & Electrical Safety requirement.
  • Ensure critical spares for new facilities & Implement Spares Management system.
  • Monitor & maintain the maintenance expenditure in line with budget.
  • Implementation of TPM / LBS.
  • Facility Maintenance.
  • People Management (4 employees).
  • Budget Management (Replacement).

Responsibilities

  • Reduce Unplanned maintenance and improve equipment uptime.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of all equipment to ensure that production loss is kept to a minimum.
  • Preparation of PM Master plan & Adherence to preventive maintenance for all equipment’s
  • Arrange training to subordinates the mechanics and electricians on proper maintenance of machines.
  • Provide services like air, water, electricity, etc., without intermission.
  • Critical spare parts Management.
  • Implement new facilities for any project requirement.
  • Responsible for PMD Related Legal Requirements & certification.
  • Monitoring Easy track request in maintenance and implementing the actions.
  • Implement & follow ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 45001, ISO 50001 EnMS system procedures to improve HSE performance.
  • Responsible for machinery and equipment’s by undertaking preventive / predictive maintenance work regularly.
  • Establish AMC for critical equipment.
  • Planning and Implementation of Layout changes as per the requirement.
  • Improve equipment uptime by reducing breakdown hours.
  • Energy Conservation & Electrical Safety requirement.
  • Ensure critical spares for new facilities & Implement Spares Management system.
  • Monitor & maintain the maintenance expenditure in line with budget. Establish AMC for all critical facility and planning of spares to eliminate firefighting.
