Job Description

As a Marketing Manager, you will support and execute marketing plans to drive engagement, both online and offline, and shape the creative vision for established and emerging artists. You will manage artist branding, development, revenues, and P&L, coordinating social media, content development, streaming marketing, digital advertising, and product campaigns. This role requires developing global marketing strategies, managing budgets, and fostering relationships with digital partners and artist teams.

  • Knowledge of the music streaming landscape
  • Knowledge of developing local artists
  • Professional planning and executing experience with social platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Word)

As a Marketing Manager, you will support and execute the marketing plans to derive engagement, on and offline, and an overall creative vision for established and emerging artists at the label.

You will be responsible for the overall artist branding, development, revenues and P&L. You will coordinate and manage social media, content development, streaming marketing, digital advertising, product management & campaigns for assigned artists.

What you'll do:

Marketing

  • Develop creative and audience centric global marketing campaigns for roster of artists and releases on the label
  • Work with creative team to build artist brand, core pillars and identity in line with the artist vision and Liquid State.
  • Forecast project-based marketing and revenue budgets, approved by MD and Finance.
  • Lead and operate individual projects of music releases on a global basis.
  • Initiate the strategy and creative ideas for the marketing campaigns. Communicate with international and domestic artist management on a regular basis to convey overall digital strategy and present opportunities as they arise.
  • Deliver on marketing plans, and artist updates for all assigned artists. These will outline core marketing objectives that drive streaming, sales, fan acquisition and revenue.
  • Work with in-house and/or third-party content creators to conceptualize & complete short-form content for artists and social media, etc. (while identifying new creators on an on-going basis).
  • Help maintain relationships with key digital partners on a global level in all territories and work with them on promotional activities, content creation, exclusive events and other partnership opportunities.
  • Build budget and effectively execute paid campaigns. Ensure timely delivery of all assignments at the highest quality level.
  • Aligning with Mainland China based team on marketing strategies.
  • Business development, to proactively look for potential brand or event opportunities for the label and the artists.
  • Be the day-to-day point person for artist team, label partner or management on your roster of artists.

Digital, social media and artist development

  • Spot digital trends, understand new technologies and social media behaviour, and align these with business objectives to create new and innovative marketing opportunities and solutions.
  • Monitor analytics on streaming platforms, understand the consumption patterns and craft tailor made campaigns to maximize music consumption.
  • Collaborate with roster of artists on content and social strategy beyond music release cycle.
  • Collaborate with roster of artists on touring schedules, live performances and beyond as part of acting management.
  • Provide in-depth analysis measuring the success of campaigns/tools and communicate the results to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Closely working and collaborating with all team members ensures smooth & effective working relationship.

Who you are:

  • Must have at least 6 years working experience in music labels, artist management experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the music streaming landscape. Passion for electronic music, events, and the music industry.
  • Well-versed or possess wide knowledge of developing local artists.
  • Social media Obsessed: Demonstrated knowledge of and professional planning and executing experience with social platforms (TikTok, IG, YouTube, X and more).
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized.
  • Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to speak in forums, meetings and presentations.
  • Time sensitive, capable of developing and keeping to a project timeline.
  • A leader and a team player.
  • Proactive and eager to make things happen.
  • Data analysis/consumer-behaviour research skills are a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, e.g. Powerpoint, Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of Electronic Dance Music is a plus.
