Job Description

As part of NBCUniversal, the Distribution Manager for the Andean region plays a commercial role focused on executing integrated distribution agreements that combine Universal+ streaming and NBCU Basic Networks. This position contributes to regional growth by negotiating agreements with selected affiliates, including MVPDs, telecommunications operators, and other distributors, and ensures that the NBCU portfolio remains widely available and competitive.
Must Have:
  • Negotiate and close combined distribution agreements (Universal+ + Basic Networks) with medium-sized affiliates in Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, and Ecuador
  • Maintain strong relationships with affiliate decision-makers
  • Support the launch and renewal of NBCU services in new markets and channels
  • Work closely with finance, marketing, content, product, and legal teams
  • Track agreement performance using data analysis and market insights

Requirements

  • Commercial execution: negotiate and close combined distribution agreements (Universal+ + Basic Networks) with medium-sized affiliates in Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, and Ecuador.
  • Affiliate management: maintain strong relationships with affiliate decision-makers to ensure portfolio availability and drive subscriber growth.
  • Market activation: Support the launch and renewal of NBCU services in new markets and channels within the Andean region.
  • Cross-functional coordination: Work closely with finance, marketing, content, product, and legal teams to ensure agreement terms align with NBCU objectives.
  • Performance monitoring: Track agreement performance using data analysis and market insights to optimize strategies and meet business objectives.
