Job Description

Responsible for leading the production team (Supervisors, professionals and operators) to achieve all the objectives of the main indicators required and ensure that they are met according to EHS, Quality and Corporate standards. Being part of continuous improvement initiatives to meet the required annual cost reductions, ensuring at all times that the plant is prepared for any future challenges that may arise. Supervises compliance with the plant's production schedules, ensuring predetermined cost standards and quality levels (FTQ). Ensures optimal use of human resources and complies with safety rules.

Must Have:
  • Lead the production team (Supervisors, professionals and operators) to achieve all objectives of main indicators.
  • Ensure objectives are met according to EHS, Quality and Corporate standards.
  • Be part of continuous improvement initiatives to meet annual cost reductions.
  • Ensure the plant is prepared for future challenges.
  • Supervise compliance with the plant's production schedules, ensuring predetermined cost standards.
  • Ensure compliance with quality levels (FTQ).
  • Ensure optimal use of human resources in the production area through proper balancing of production lines.
  • Comply with and enforce safety rules.
  • Responsible for training new staff (supervisors & team leaders) in key functions of the area.
  • Have responsibility and authority to make decisions about the lines that run under your load, ensuring the best performance.
  • 5 years of manufacturing experience, with 2 years as Manufacturing Manager.
  • Engineering degree in any field.
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish).
  • Demonstrated excellent employee and customer relations.
  • Previous experience coordinating efforts with other areas to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, Project Management, NPI.

  • 5 years on manufacturing experience required, 2 of them as Manufacturing Manager. Desirable experience in automotive industry.
  • Engineering in any field and master's degree preferred.
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish)
  • Demonstrated excellent employee and customer relations.
  • Previous experience coordinating efforts with other areas to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, Project Management, NPI experience.
