Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant (f/m/d) on a temporary basis for up to 18 months to support our Universal Pictures International Germany Team based in Frankfurt. In this full-time position, you will work closely with our Marketing Manager. You will support product management tasks, including marketing strategy, budget planning, media planning, creative adaptations, influencer marketing, and third-party promotions. You will also handle general marketing support, including managing smaller releases, research, and analysis, and project-based support for the entire marketing team.

Must Have

  • Support Marketing Manager with marketing strategy, budget planning, media planning, creative adaptations, influencer marketing, and third-party promotions
  • Support and conduct briefings, and manage creative, media, and promotion agencies
  • Plan and execute selected events such as fan screenings
  • Communicate with the Head Office in Los Angeles and London
  • Prepare reports (filmmaker presentations, campaign analyses, etc.)
  • Provide administrative support to the Marketing Manager (orders, invoice tracking, inventory management, etc.)
  • Support film premieres (on-site runner, responsible for various event-specific tasks like guest management)
  • Independently manage smaller releases (budgeting, strategy, creative, reporting)
  • Conduct research and analysis
  • Provide project-based support to the entire marketing team
  • Initial professional experience or internship in marketing or communication
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German (oral and written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel

Good to Have

  • Ideally, experience in an international corporate environment
  • A great passion for film and cinema

Qualifications

  • Initial professional experience or internship in marketing or communication, ideally in an international corporate environment
  • Strong teamwork skills, confident demeanor, independent and reliable work ethic, and organizational talent even in stressful situations
  • Open and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German (oral and written) and confident use of both languages in a professional context
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • And last but not least: A great passion for film and cinema!
