Must Have

  • Lead newsletter marketing strategy and execution, including content, A/B testing, and optimization.
  • Drive subscriber acquisition across organic and paid channels.
  • Guide content strategy based on audience research and marketing insights.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends and improve engagement and retention.
  • Enhance onsite user experience to increase engagement and conversions.
  • Stay informed on healthcare industry trends and incorporate insights into campaigns.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, ideally in healthcare or health tech, including copywriting.
  • Proven experience developing and executing successful email and paid acquisition campaigns.
  • Strong copywriting, editing, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for understanding audience behavior and creating engaging content.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; self-starter.

Good to Have

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for campaign analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS).
  • Experience with analytics tools like Adobe Analytics (SiteCatalyst/Omniture) and Google Analytics.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget).
  • Experience with CRM/project tools like Workfront and YouTrack.
  • Familiarity with the Consumer Healthcare Industry and Compliance considerations.

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Marketing Manager to lead our omni-channel digital marketing efforts, with a primary focus on our newsletter strategy and subscriber growth. This role will be essential to growing and retaining our consumer health audience. In this role, you'll own all aspects of our newsletter program, from content creation and optimization to acquisition and performance analysis. You'll also collaborate across broader digital marketing channels, ensuring a cohesive and engaging experience for our target audiences. The ideal candidate is data-driven, highly organized, possesses a strong understanding of omni-channel digital marketing best practices, and is passionate about driving growth through impactful content and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead newsletter marketing strategy and execution, encompassing content selection, copywriting, A/B testing, performance analysis, and optimization to maximize subscriber engagement and achieve key marketing objectives.
  • Drive Subscriber Acquisition: overseeing and improving the newsletter acquisition funnel across organic and paid channels.
  • Champion Content Creation: Guide content strategy based on audience research & marketing insights.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and make data-informed decisions to improve engagement and retention.
  • Enhance Onsite User Experience: Develop strategies to increase engagement and conversions on the website.
  • Stay informed on healthcare industry trends and incorporate insights into campaign strategy.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, ideally within healthcare, health tech, or related industries, including copy writing.
  • Proven experience developing and executing successful email marketing and paid acquisition campaigns, with a strong understanding of channel best practices.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong analytical mindset and experience using performance data to inform strategy (e.g., CTR, opt outs, conversion).
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for understanding audience behavior and creating engaging content.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-starter with a desire to ask questions and learn.

Preferred Qualifications
