We’re constantly striving to improve, innovate, and take on new challenges. With ambitious plans for the future, we’re looking for passionate people to be part of this exciting journey.

Job Description

The Marketing Director is the cornerstone of Techland’s global publishing transformation, responsible for defining, integrating, and leading every facet of our marketing ecosystem, from high-level brand vision to execution across communications, user acquisition, and performance. This is a pivotal leadership position that unites creative excellence with commercial accountability, ensuring that every player touchpoint, from first reveal to years-long engagement, is intentional, immersive, and measurable.

You will architect the marketing frameworks that define how Techland’s stories are told and experienced. Working at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and analytics, you will lead a multidisciplinary team spanning brand management, communications, community, UA, and creative production. Your mission is to build an agile, player-first marketing organization capable of delivering integrated campaigns that are as emotionally resonant as they are commercially effective.

This role requires an individual who combines a director’s vision with a tactician’s precision, a marketing leader who can set a global strategy, inspire cross-functional teams, and roll up their sleeves to ensure executional excellence. You will play a defining role in shaping how the world perceives Techland, balancing the artistry of storytelling with the rigor of performance measurement.

As Techland’s Marketing Director, you’ll be part of the leadership team driving the studio’s publishing evolution, helping transform a developer-driven legacy into a modern, player-centric publishing powerhouse. You will not just manage campaigns; you will redefine how we connect with audiences, cultivate long-term brand loyalty, and scale our global marketing capabilities to match the ambition of our games.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product, Publishing, and Creative leadership to define franchise positioning, visual identity, and narrative pillars that guide every campaign
  • Lead the planning and execution of multi-phase global campaigns, including reveals, launch windows, and long-term live-service engagement cycles
  • Establish and track marketing KPIs that connect creative output to tangible business performance, awareness, engagement, acquisition, and retention
  • Oversee the development of high-quality creative assets, ensuring world-class execution across trailers, key art, digital advertising, and social media
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and creative bravery, mentoring cross-functional teams across Brand, Comms, UA, and Creative Production to achieve cohesive, impactful results
  • Partner with Business Intelligence and Finance to align forecasts, ROI models, and spend efficiency across all paid and organic channels
  • Build strong cross-departmental bridges with Game Development, ensuring marketing narratives reflect and enhance the player’s in-game experience
  • Champion innovation and experimentation, embracing new platforms, influencer ecosystems, and content formats to keep Techland’s campaigns ahead of industry trends
  • Manage relationships with external partners, including agencies, media platforms, and co-marketing collaborators, ensuring creative and operational alignment
  • Serve as a key voice in Techland’s publishing leadership team, contributing to strategic planning, resource allocation, and long-term brand architecture
  • Lead by example, balancing creative vision, data literacy, and executional discipline in equal measure
