Job Description

This role involves driving superior consumer value by developing and executing end-to-end innovation and go-to-market strategies for prioritized beauty consumer segments. The Marketing Director will ensure profitability and growth of the assigned Beauty and New Venture portfolio as the Region Business Unit Leader, aligning with Great China's business and marketing strategy. Key responsibilities include flawless new product introductions and launches, and exploring new go-to-market strategies for the Beauty category in China.
Good To Have:
  • Experience in marketing technology, or beauty care products would be a plus.
Must Have:
  • Develop and execute the E2E approach from innovation to Go To Market for beauty.
  • Drive and collaborate with Beauty BU and Venture BU to set Beauty China strategy and innovation pipeline.
  • Ensure perfect and flawless New Product Introductions and Launches.
  • Support interactions with the Business, especially demand, forecasting, investment (A&P and Trade spending), and P&L management.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 10+ years of industry experience.
  • Broad knowledge of consumer insight, marketing activations, and GTM experience.
  • Complete knowledge and understanding of Marketing processes.
  • Ability to lead a cooperative effort among members of multifunctional teams.
  • Strong experience in marketing technology, in consumer / beauty care domains, including creating customized value propositions to consumers.
  • Experience as an integrator in a dynamic market and/or matrix organization.
  • Experience with leading a cross functional team.
  • Experience to work in a business with complex market/channel structures.
  • Ability to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth knowledge of the company.
  • Participate in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people.
  • Ensure budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.

Drive superior consumer value by developing and executing the E2E innovation and go-to-market approach to reach prioritized beauty consumer segments and ensure profitability and growth of the assigned portfolio of Beauty and New Venture as the Region Business Unit Leader in alignment with the Great China region’s business and overall Marketing strategy to ensure perfect and flawless new product introductions and launches at market/country level and explore new GTM strategy for Beauty category in China.

You are responsible for

  • Responsible to develop and execute the E2E approach from innovation to Go To Market approach for beauty
  • Drive and collaborate Beauty BU and Venture BU to set Beauty China strategy and innovation pipeline with perfect and flawless New Product Introductions and Launches.
  • Supports the interactions with the Business, especially the demand and forecasting, investment (A&P and Trade spending) and P&L management.

You are a part of

The Grooming & Beauty marketing team, a key category within Philips Personal Health portfolio. You will report to the RBUL G&B, PH GrC and collaborate with many other teams including Trade Marketing, Digital marketing, PR, E-commerce, Sales, Finance etc.,.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of industry experience
  • Experience in marketing technology, or beauty care products would be a plus
  • Has a broad knowledge of consumer insight, marketing activations and GTM experience within the scope.
  • Complete knowledge and understanding of the Marketing processes.
  • Leads a cooperative effort among members of multifunctional teams.
  • Strong experience in marketing technology, in consumer / beauty care domains, incl. creating customized value propositions to consumers.
  • Experience as an integrator in a dynamic market and /or matrix organization
  • Experience with leading a cross functional team • Experience to work in a business with complex market/channel structures.
