We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marketing & Communications team in Tokyo, Japan. This is a role that has hybrid working requirement of working in the office at least three days in a week.
Position: Marsh Marketing Senior Business Partner (Vice President)
Reporting to: Marketing & Communications Leader, MMC Japan
Business Area: Marketing & Communications
- The Marsh Marketing Business Partner is responsible for enhancing the Marsh Japan brand and driving the creation of measurable business opportunities.
- As a trusted advisor to business leaders, you will set strategic goals and implement marketing and communications that resonate with customers in the Japanese market.
- Leverage expertise in stakeholder engagement, content development, and channel marketing to support business growth. You will be required to build strong collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners to enhance the organization's brand presence in Japan.
We will count on you to:
- Serve as the lead for Marsh Japan Marketing, acting as the stakeholder contact, and developing/executing strategic marketing plans that deliver measurable results.
- Lead the planning and operation of cross-functional and integrated marketing campaigns across a series of marketing activities, collaborating with internal (Japan and regional) stakeholders.
- Conduct competitive analysis and formulate analysis-based strategies focused on Thought Leadership and demand generation.
- Localize MMC global content (articles, videos, press releases, SNS posts, etc.) to suit Japan, collaborating with regional teams to align with strategic goals.
- Continuously engage with stakeholders throughout the marketing lifecycle, performing real-time analysis and follow-ups to maximize effectiveness.
What you need to have:
- 8-10+ years of practical B2B marketing experience
- Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or business/commerce
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to build good relationships at all levels
- High expertise in project management, content creation, and digital marketing. Organizational leadership and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, analytical tools, CRM systems, and experience utilizing AI tools.
- Ability to convey complex technical information clearly
