Job Description

In PayPay's business planning division, as PayPay transitions from a cashless payment service to a life platform service, you will be responsible for managing system development projects aimed at data utilization. Leveraging vast payment data, you will analyze factors contributing to merchant satisfaction and revenue improvement, plan and manage merchant information master data, and propose solutions related to various master data, especially in the areas of sales promotion and finance. This role aims to strengthen the master data planning team to meet the growing need for organizing and utilizing PayPay's extensive and diverse data, with a long-term view towards monetization.

About the Job

Introduction to the Business Planning Department

The Business Promotion Division supports various businesses through operations to improve the satisfaction of merchants and users who use PayPay. The Business Planning Department consists of three teams: the Business Promotion Team, the Master Data Planning Team, and the Operations Planning Team. It is an organization of about 20 members, ranging from their 30s to mid-40s. This recruitment is for a position in the Master Data Planning Team. This team is primarily responsible for planning and promoting merchant and business partner master data linked to CRM, building a management infrastructure for merchant and business partner master data, and promoting a governance system. The team's mission is "Maximizing profit through master data utilization and governance."

Background of the Recruitment

Currently, there is a growing need to organize and utilize the vast and diverse data and master data that PayPay possesses, with a medium-to-long-term view towards monetization. This recruitment aims to further strengthen the Master Data Planning Team. In the future, various needs and challenges regarding master data are expected to arise, including those from group companies. We are looking for someone who can not only quickly resolve these issues but also contribute to the realization of plans that lead to the creation of new value.

Job Overview

This is to deploy critical services in areas such as sales promotion and finance, making life more convenient by utilizing accumulated merchant data and transaction data.

Specific Job Details

  • Master Data Planning and Management
  • Planning tasks for merchant and business partner master data (solving issues related to master data for new services, designing, creating system requirements, etc.)
  • Establishing operational management tasks, planning improvements and efficiencies.
  • Supporting and promoting projects and services in collaboration with group companies.

  • Super Flex System (no core time)
  • Principle: 9:00 AM - 5:45 PM (7 hours 45 minutes actual work + 1 hour break)
