Job Summary

eBay Japan is seeking an OMO Business Development and Operations Manager for its Qoo10 flagship and pop-up stores. This role involves supporting daily store operations, developing and executing events, and integrating online strategies. The manager will work under the OMO Business Development Lead, focusing on creating new customer experiences by merging online and offline activities, including campaign linkage, inventory management, and partner communication.

Must Have

  • Support daily/weekly store operations

  • Basic PC skills (Excel / PowerPoint)

In Japan, we operate the shopping mall "Qoo10," which is popular among Generation Z, and continue to grow primarily in the beauty and fashion sectors.

As our next growth strategy, we are launching our first offline flagship store,

and are challenging ourselves to realize a new customer experience (OMO: Online Merges with Offline) that integrates online and offline.

Background to Recruitment

With the launch and operation of flagship stores and pop-up stores,

we are recruiting new operations members to execute and promote our OMO strategy on-site.

This position, under the OMO Business Development Lead (Team Leader),

is an execution role that comprehensively supports store operations, events, inventory, product assortment, online integration, logistics, partner management, and communication.

Position Summary

You will play a central role in the Qoo10 flagship and pop-up stores,

responsible for daily store operations, development, event execution, and online integration.

Beyond mere store operations,

you will be deeply involved in creating OMO-type customer experiences linked to Qoo10's online initiatives (such as Mega Discount campaigns, live commerce, and member programs).

Main Duties

① Store Operations Support

  • Support daily/weekly store operations
  • Propose and execute improvements to store operations
  • Coordinate with staff and on-site adjustments
  • Assist in developing store rules and operations

② Event and Pop-up Operations

  • Execute brand pop-ups and events
  • Manage schedules, on-site progress, and stakeholder coordination
  • Coordinate with brands, agencies, and internal departments
  • Review and report after events

③ Product and Inventory Management (Flagship-focused)

  • Support inventory management for display and sales products
  • Confirm and conduct simple analysis of sales and inventory data
  • Handle inventory counts (stocktaking, quantity confirmation)
  • Liaise with logistics personnel

④ OMO and Online Integration

  • Execute in-store initiatives linked to online campaigns
  • Support integration with Qoo10 app/EC initiatives
  • Provide on-site support for live commerce and filming
  • Execute measures to drive online traffic and offline visits

Required Skills

  • Practical experience in retail, store, event management, or sales promotion (2 years or more)
  • Experience in coordinating tasks with multiple stakeholders
  • Proactive stance in on-site response and execution
  • Basic PC skills (Excel / PowerPoint)
