The Solution Delivery Operations Analyst plays a critical role in driving pivotal business decisions by analyzing processes, identifying inefficiencies, designing solutions to improve productivity (including the use of advanced technologies), and implementing those solutions. Using process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Plan-Do-Check-Act or Business Process Management, they continually generate innovative ideas that drive operational efficiencies and revenue for GHX. This role requires well-developed analytical skills, an understanding of the business, attention to detail, the ability to work collaboratively, and influence peers across departments. Well-developed project management skills are a key component of this role, as the Operations Analyst must motivate cross-functional resources to implement necessary improvements and process changes.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyzes current operational processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and develops strategies for optimization. Assists in the implementation of designed solutions and monitors to ensure expected improvements are achieved.
- Collects and interprets data using various analytical tools and methodologies to inform decision-making. Data analysis is sophisticated and incorporates context based on an intimate understanding of the business.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and track progress. Conducts regularly scheduled meetings with stakeholders and reports on progress to Solution Delivery leadership.
- Prepares detailed reports and presentations and communicates findings and recommendations persuasively.
- Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyzes trends to forecast future operational needs.
- Assists in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures. Additionally, they may act as a functional subject matter expert in bringing new products to market and ensuring that participants from their function produce the required deliverables to support the product launch. Often, this role requires building connections and alignment with cross-functional teams to achieve the required results.
- Leads project management activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring for the solutions they design. This may include directing and coordinating activities for team members and functional leads to ensure the designed benefits are delivered at the target magnitude and within the specified timing. Holds team members accountable for commitments.
- Maintains complete responsibility for the financial analysis that supports or justifies the operational improvements to senior leadership.
- Possesses and cultivates a high degree of awareness around trends in the healthcare technology space and utilizes this knowledge to employ best practices to the benefit of GHX.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, industrial engineering, or a related field and 5-7 years of related business operations leadership experience.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools and software such as the Microsoft suite of products, CRM tools, professional services automation tools, SQL, report writing technology, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills that are typically grounded in six sigma or root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including the ability to multitask.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- An experienced project manager who has demonstrated the ability to reduce cost or increase revenue by hundreds of thousands of dollars annually.
- Well-developed change management skills.
- Able/willing to travel up to 20% annually.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Operations Analysis, MBA, or equivalent, demonstrated experience.
- Experience deploying AI technology to drive process efficiency.
- Experience as a trainer for software applications and/or staff onboarding training.
- Ability to configure reporting tools such as Sigma for real-time KPI monitoring.
- Certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt, program management, or portfolio management.
Estimated salary range: $87,400 - $116,500
The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role.
