Compensation: $45,000 yearly

Job Summary
The People and Culture Administrator supports the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding, ensuring smooth processes and a positive employee experience. This role is responsible for coordinating interviews, onboarding logistics, employee communications, and maintaining HR systems. Working closely with the People and Culture team, the Administrator also helps organize events, manage administrative tasks, and contribute to a supportive and engaging workplace environment.

Recruitment Support
- Post job openings across internal and external platforms
- Coordinate interviews, including scheduling, communications, and follow-up
- Track applicant information and update our recruitment systems
- Assist with reference checks and background screening
- Prepare offer letters and employment packages
Onboarding & Offboarding
- Coordinate onboarding schedules and send welcome packages
- Ensure completion of new hire documentation and system access setup
- Support orientation and training logistics
- Assist in the offboarding process, including documentation and exit interviews
Employee Experience & Administration
- Respond to employee inquiries and redirect as appropriate
- Assist in organizing team events, training sessions, and engagement activities
- Support the People and Culture team with administrative tasks and special projects as needed
Attributes & Qualifications
Equal consideration will be given to non-academic skills and experiences of candidates.
- 1–2 years of administrative experience, preferably in an HR or office environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc.)
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset, but not required
