The "Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)" Agile squad ensures that our Thales Netherlands colleagues are provided with PLM applications that properly support their processes. From our Hengelo location, we provide support to Thales' four locations in the Netherlands.
About your future job
- Optimizing and developing specific Windchill solutions using JAVA, Windchill APIs, and the Windchill Object Model.
- Executing 'user stories' in close collaboration with the requester and possibly other squads.
- Identifying business needs and translating them into definitions and setups by creating 'user Epics/stories' (refinement);
- Ensuring and implementing solid knowledge transfer.
Key responsibilities:
- System Management: Maintain and administer PLM systems to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements within the PLM framework.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to users, resolving issues and ensuring smooth operation of PLM tools and applications.
- Data Management: Oversee the accuracy and integrity of product data throughout its lifecycle, from inception to retirement.
- Integration: Work on the integration of PLM systems with other enterprise tools and systems, ensuring seamless data flow.
- Training: Develop and deliver training programs for users to enhance their understanding and effective use of PLM systems.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to PLM processes, system configurations, and best practices.
Why you are a great match
We are looking for a new colleague who:
- Has completed higher education (HBO or WO).
- Has 3+ years of experience developing JAVA solutions in PTC Windchill.
- Has extensive experience with Windchill PDMLink, Windchill MPMLink, Windchill APIs, and the Windchill Object Model.
- Is a ‘T-shaped’ professional with a strong interest in the technical and functional aspects of applications.
- Is service-oriented, flexible, communicatively strong, and a team player.
- Can listen well and ask further questions, even when the message isn't explicit.
- Possesses analytical skills.
- Wants to work in a department that has embraced Agile working methods and culture.
- Takes initiative and stays up to date on PLM developments.
- Has a good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
