Job Summary
The Process Engineer is a dynamic change agent within the Manufacturing Excellence team, crucial for implementing continuous improvement programs. This role involves scheduling, coordinating, and performing operational activities for strategic programs like R2S Process Engineer and UMS FI/Logistics pillars. Responsibilities include optimizing material management, ensuring asset reliability, coordinating 5S's & housekeeping, partnering on training, and leading net productivity savings projects. The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills to drive cultural shifts and identify process improvements.
Must Have
- Schedule, coordinate, plan, delegate, and perform operational activities for strategic programs (R2S Process Engineer, UMS FI and Logistics pillars).
- Support with times & movement Studies, Internal logistics initiatives.
- Coordinate efforts on ensuring reliability of current assets.
- Coordinate teams on building and maintaining a sustainable 5S's & housekeeping process.
- Partner with Training leader to create the Factory Training System.
- Lead savings projects with specific targets for Net productivity initiative.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 2+ years of hands-on engineering experience in manufacturing.
- Experience with Statistical Control Process, Kaizen, basic CI, Process Mapping, gap analysis.
- Skills: Analytical thinking, problem-solving, influencing, strong observation and auditing, collaborator, critical thinker.
- Proficient in data collecting systems and/or software like Power BI, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, CMMS, and Visio.
Good to Have
- Union factory experience.
- Experience and proficiency with AutoCad, SolidWorks or any other design software.
- Experience executing projects using Continuous Improvement methodology (TPM / WCM /Kaizen / Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt).

JOB PURPOSE
The Process Engineer is a dynamic change agent who connects various areas and processes to align site improvement efforts. As a key member of the Manufacturing Excellence team, the Process Engineer plays a crucial role in implementing the continuous improvement programs. This role requires effective communication, negotiation, and resilience skills to resolve conflicts and overcome resistance to change.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule, coordinate, plan, delegate, and perform operational activities (both technical and managerial) regarding strategic programs:
- R2S Process Engineer, cell member for the WH
- UMS FI and Logistics pillars team member.
- For both previous points, this role will support with times & movement Studies, Internal logistics initiatives oriented to optimize material management and identify savings opportunities.
- Will also coordinate the efforts of the cell on ensuring reliability of the current assets to avoid disruptions to the operations.
- 5S’s & housekeeping (As a system, Factory wide): by coordinating teams on building and maintaining a sustainable process.
- Partnering with Training leader to create the Factory Training System & ensure
- Contribute to the Net productivity initiative by leading savings projects with specific targets.
Challenges
- Leading a cultural shift towards consistent and sustainable performance.
- Identifying gaps and opportunities within existing processes through a methodological approach.
- Supporting the Factory Operating System and associated processes.
- Ensuring resources are available for CI program projects or activities.
- Planning, coordinating, and training activities in multiple areas of responsibility.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering: Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical or equivalent.
- 2+ years of hands-on engineering experience in manufacturing. CPG/FMCG strongly preferred.
- Experience with Statistical Control Process, Kaizen, and basic CI proven experience. Process Mapping and gap analysis.
- Skills: Analytical thinking, problem-solving, influencing, strong observation and auditing, collaborator, critical thinker.
- Experience executing projects using Continuous Improvement methodology preferred (TPM / WCM /Kaizen / Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt).
- Excellent computer and analytical skills, proficient in proficient in data collecting systems and/or software like Power BI, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, CMMS, and Visio.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Union factory experience.
- Experience and proficiency with AutoCad, SolidWorks or any other design software.
