Nasdaq is looking for a proactive Product Delivery Lead - Senior Specialist to join our Nasdaq Trade Surveillance Product Management design and delivery team. As a Product Delivery Lead, you will play a key role in the delivery of compliance alerting technology to our global Nasdaq Trade Surveillance customers

As we are expanding the Product Management team for Nasdaq Trade Surveillance and Compliance solutions in the Bangalore office, we are now looking for a Product Delivery Lead - Senior Specialist within the Product Management design and delivery team.

Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will support the service delivery, design, and development teams to drive the continued value of the NTS Alerting service. You will do so by assisting in the design, definition, development, validation, and delivery of Nasdaq Alerts products by balancing client desirability, financial viability, and technical feasibility throughout the product lifecycle. Working with a global team of Product Specialists, SME’s, and Product Delivery Leads, you will work with our Senior Product Delivery team in defining business requirements, developing test cases and ultimately delivering innovative alerting solutions.

You will have the opportunity to work in a strong experienced team delivering complex technology solutions to international clients. You will work with and learn from subject matter experts, and have the opportunity to take on more responsibility and progress within the Product Management design and delivery team.  Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bangalore, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries, including US and Australia.

Furthermore, you will: 

  • Translate Desires – Communicate the voice of the customer to the development team, manage customer expectations as you turn their pains and problems into actionable user stories in the backlog.
  • Prioritize Needs – Understand, define, and communicate the prioritization of product requirements expressed as stories in the product backlog with a mind toward business value, flow, and tradeoffs.
  • Act as a Servant Leader – Actively monitor business risks, issues, & impediments expressed by the delivery team. Attend agile ceremonies to ensure that development work is aligned with the roadmap.
  • Enhance Quality – Build quality acceptance criteria and accept all work increments produced by the development team. Develop and define test cases and business validations, to ensure alert effectiveness.

We expect you to have

  • Overall 8+years of experience, with at least 4 years of global experience in trading and financial markets.
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills
  • A collaborative spirit, able to translate customer requirements clearly into user stories
  • An analytical approach to solving business problems through iterative practices
  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence
  • Data analytics skills working in tools such as Excel, Filters, Pivot Tables etc.
  • Ability to engage and collaborate closely with external clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • A strong inner drive and motivation, thriving in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to take some meetings outside of work hours
  • Agile product experience.
  • Education Qualification: A degree in Business/Finance, Computer Science or equivalent field.

It would be great if you have

  • At least 4 years of global experience in a Trade Surveillance or Surveillance Product role
  • Experience in the functionality and use of SMARTS Trade Surveillance (STS) core application.
  • Good understanding of Nasdaq Trade Surveillance (STS) alerts and Fav data.
