Job Description
The Program Manager will be responsible for leading the Product Development Process (PDP), coordinating all team activities, and managing departmental resources including headcount and budget. This role requires implementing a date-driven management culture, overseeing project financials and schedules to meet stakeholder expectations, and championing Aptiv's flawless launch initiatives. The manager will also drive consistency in the PDP system, lead value stream improvements, maintain and report key metrics, facilitate PDP gate reviews, and ensure compliance with internal controls and business processes.

- 3-5 years’ experience in automotive industry program management
- English communication skills for cross-country communication
- Manage the Product Development Process(PDP). This includes coordinating all activities and interfacing with the team. Manage the organization through headcount, budget and other department driven activities.
- Implement a date driven management culture based on PDP.
- Overall management all projects finical & schedule, meet related stokehold expectation and target.
- Champion of the APTIV flawless launches initiative.
- Champion a common PDP system across L&P, consistent with global direction.
- Lead value stream improvements for the PDP process.
- Represent A/P as a member of the global PDP team.
- Assure metrics are maintained and reported timely to the team.
- Assure PDP information is maintained in the CBU quick place.
- Facilitate PDP gate reviews for the CBU (low/high risk) reviews.
- Participate in China Low/High Risk Reviews.
- Personnel and budget control
- Comply with internal control requirements, H&S and Aptiv Business Process.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor graduate at least
- Able to tack the fabrication status and stick on the deadline
- Strong personality and able to lead a diverse team
- Ownership and act with urgency, have passion for results
- Program management with 3-5 years’ experience in automotive industry
- English skills to handle cross-country communications.
