Join CAE's Strategic Projects and Operations Excellence team as a Project Manager. You will play a pivotal role in driving strategic projects and complex initiatives that deliver measurable value. This involves leading cross-functional projects using world-class project management methodologies. You will develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources, define project scope and objectives, and ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes. The role also includes evaluating risks, managing issues, communicating with stakeholders, and presenting project status to senior leadership, thriving in dynamic and collaborative environments.

Good To Have:

PMI certification (e.g., PMP) is a strong asset.
Ability to collaborate across various organizational levels and support leadership teams.
A results-driven mindset with a strong focus on achieving project objectives.
Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability.
Autonomy in task execution and decision-making within established frameworks.
Flexibility and agility in managing priorities, adapting to evolving needs and project urgency.
Availability to travel occasionally to various CAE sites.

Must Have:

Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria aligned with business goals.
Lead project execution across all phases of the lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
Evaluate project risks, manage project issues, and develop mitigation plans.
Ensure compliance with CAE’s policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring transparent and timely communication.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, business or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience managing increasingly complex projects, including at least 2 years in a project management role.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
Bilingualism (French and English) is required.

The role we are offering you:

Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria aligned with business goals.
Lead project execution across all phases of the lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
Evaluates project risks, manages project issues, develops mitigation plans, and identifies and maximises return from opportunities.
Ensure compliance with CAE’s policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
Resolves project work/scheduling problems by reprioritising activities.
Reviews project performance against milestones and budget.
Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring transparent and timely communication.
Present project status, risks, and opportunities clearly and effectively to senior leadership
Facilitate collaborative decision-making and conflict resolution across diverse teams.

Our ideal candidate has:

A bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, business or a related field.
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience managing increasingly complex projects, including at least 2 years in a project management role.
PMI certification (e.g., PMP) is a strong asset.
