Job Description

We are seeking a Project Sales Representative for our Buildings & Parking business. This role involves developing product needs through service and specifications for distributors, contractors, and specifiers. Key responsibilities include achieving sales budgets, promoting Sika products via engineering specifications and contractor applications, ensuring comprehensive geographical coverage, and maintaining high proficiency with current product offerings. The representative will also develop sales action plans for selected accounts, communicate business information, and support company profitability through sound judgment in all transactions.
Must have:
  • Achieve a sales budget within an assigned discount or profit target.
  • Promote Sika products through continued development of engineering specifications and contractor applications.
  • Ensure complete geographical coverage of assigned territory through an effective and efficient account base management system.
  • Maintain a high level of understanding and proficiency with current product offerings and market applications.
  • Develop and implement specific sales action plans for selected accounts.
  • Communicate to inter/intra regional personnel and other support functions all business information as appropriate.
  • Support company profitability by exercising good judgment in all business transactions.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by manager.
Good to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience
  • Proven sales success
  • Background in construction
  • Ability to act independently and carry out action plans
  • Organized in time management
