Job Summary
Join Silicon Labs' collaborative Procurement team as a Purchasing Analyst I in Austin, Texas. This role involves navigating SAP MM, managing vendor relationships, processing purchase orders, and ensuring compliance with purchasing policies. You will guide business groups on SAP processes, develop training materials, and identify cost-saving initiatives. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to support efficient operations and deliver value.
Must Have
- Navigating the Materials Management (MM) procurement module in SAP.
- Managing and supporting vendor setup and maintenance.
- Reviewing and processing vendor requests, purchase orders, change orders, and cancellations.
- Collaborating with internal teams to verify and collect required documentation.
- Providing credit references to new vendors and supporting vendor relationships.
- Guiding business groups on SAP purchasing processes.
- Developing and maintaining training materials.
- Ensuring compliance with internal purchasing policies, maintaining data integrity, and conducting quarterly self-audits.
- Identifying and recommending cost-saving initiatives.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Outlook.
- Two years of purchasing or administrative experience.
Good to Have
- Proficiency with SAP, especially the Materials Management procurement module.
- Hands-on experience with Workday, Tableau, Salesforce, or logistics systems.
- Experience designing and delivering training sessions, both in-person and virtual.

Responsibilities
- Navigating the Materials Management (MM) procurement module in SAP with confidence and precision.
- Managing and supporting vendor setup and maintenance to ensure accurate, up-to-date information.
- Reviewing and processing vendor requests, purchase orders, change orders, and cancellations.
- Collaborating with internal teams to verify and collect required documentation.
- Providing credit references to new vendors and supporting vendor relationships.
- Guiding business groups on SAP purchasing processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Developing and maintaining training materials to support continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensuring compliance with internal purchasing policies, maintaining data integrity, and conducting quarterly self-audits.

Skills You Will Need
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree or some college coursework in Purchasing, Business Administration, Electronics, or a related field or two years of purchasing or administrative experience.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Outlook.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- High attention to detail, organizational excellence, and commitment to data accuracy.
- Comfortable engaging with team members at all levels and external partners across the globe.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a passion for identifying improvements and driving results.
The following qualifications will be considered a plus:
- Proficiency with SAP, especially the Materials Management procurement module, or the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Hands-on experience with Workday, Tableau, Salesforce, or logistics systems.

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $56,350 - $104,650 USD. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location where work will be performed and applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus, equity package and a comprehensive benefits package.
