Job Summary
This project involves product verification and testing for enterprise routing/switching platforms for a major enterprise networking equipment provider. The team focuses on contributing to customer success using technologies like networking protocols, traffic generation tools, Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, network security, wireless, network management tools, and Java. Responsibilities include analyzing automation results, debugging failures, analyzing functional requirements to determine testing scope, analyzing test cases for automation scope and effort, executing tests, reporting defects, and automating existing Functional or System test cases.
Must Have
- Good knowledge of Cisco CCNA 1 & CCNA 2 curricula
- L2 networking knowledge (L2 addressing, MAC, VLAN, Spanning Tree)
- L3 networking knowledge (ARP, Ipv4/Ipv6 addressing, Static Routing, ICMP, Dynamic Routing RIP, OSPF)
- L4-L7 networking knowledge (DHCP, DNS, TCP/UDP)
- Scripting, programming skills
- Linux admin, Linux networking
- Knowledge of testing methodologies
Good to Have
- Cisco CCNA or CCNP certification
- Defect logging and tracking, with excellent debugging skills
- Enterprise Campus Networking technologies including ISIS, BGP, EVPN, SPBm and VXLAN
- Java programming skills
- Bash scripting
