As a QC Supervisor at TRACAB, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest level of accuracy and reliability in football tracking data. You will oversee live match operations, supervise data quality processes, and coordinate a team of freelance operators responsible for capturing and validating live tracking data. Your leadership and technical expertise will help maintain TRACAB’s global reputation for precision and excellence in sports data solutions. You will also be responsible for freelancer training, development, scheduling, and coordination.

Must Have

  • Supervise live data collection during football matches
  • Monitor, review, and validate live tracking datasets
  • Ensure seamless delivery of data to clients and internal systems
  • Act as the quality assurance lead during live operations
  • Conduct onboarding sessions and workshops for freelance operators
  • Provide ongoing training in operational procedures, software tools, and data quality standards
  • Maintain balanced staffing levels to meet operational needs
  • Proven expertise in TRACAB-specific software and tools
  • Average to above-average computer and technical skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Basic or better Google Sheets knowledge and skills
  • Effective communication skills in German and English
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and evenings

You will oversee live match operations, supervise data quality processes, and coordinate a team of freelance operators responsible for capturing and validating live tracking data. Your leadership and technical expertise will help maintain TRACAB’s global reputation for precision and excellence in sports data solutions.

Responsibilities

Live Matchday Operations & Quality Control

  • Supervise live data collection during football matches to ensure real-time accuracy and consistency.
  • Monitor, review, and validate live tracking datasets, correcting discrepancies to guarantee data integrity.
  • Ensure the seamless delivery of data to clients and internal systems under tight matchday deadlines.
  • Act as the quality assurance lead during live operations, troubleshooting issues and maintaining workflow efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other internal and external teams to prepare, support and improve live operations processes

Freelancer Training & Development

  • Conduct onboarding sessions and workshops for freelance operators working with TRACAB’s tracking systems.
  • Provide ongoing training in operational procedures, software tools, and data quality standards.
  • Promote continuous learning and skill enhancement to align with evolving technologies and processes.

Freelancer Scheduling & Coordination

  • Maintain balanced staffing levels to meet operational needs and uphold TRACAB’s quality benchmarks.
  • Communicate closely with freelancers and other stakeholders to ensure readiness and operational smoothness on matchdays.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven expertise in TRACAB-specific software and tools used for data collection, correction, validation and deliveries.
  • Average to above-average computer and technical skills, with the ability to quickly learn and operate specialized software tools.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple live operations simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, especially under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Basic or better Google Sheets knowledge and skills
  • Effective communication skills in German and English;
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and evenings, aligned with live match schedules.
