Overview

A Quality Analyst, as part of the Quality Verification team, ensures that EA games are top-notch. Your job will involve analysing the game, planning and executing tests for one or more games. You will gather feedback on how easy and enjoyable the games are to play and work to prevent any problems from appearing in the game code. If you love games and have a keen eye for detail, this role is for you!

An ideal candidate would have passion towards games and quality. This role is where your passion meets the opportunity to learn and work in a cohesive environment to deliver one of the top games in EA. The role provides you an experience working with international team members from various locations & backgrounds and implementing best quality practices for making sure the games are fun and bug-free.

In addition to core QA responsibilities, we are looking for candidates who have basic familiarity with AI concepts and tools or a strong willingness to learn. This role offers an opportunity to explore AI-driven testing approaches, leverage automation, and contribute to innovative quality practices while working with an international team.

Responsibilities

  • Learn the game and its test plan and run tests on game features and compare the actual results to the expected results.
  • Take charge of certain parts of the game, execute test plans and give feedback to the designers who create features and content. You'll investigate design issues and collect necessary information from the development team.
  • Collaborate with engineers, artists, and the production team to ensure that game features meet the quality standards set by the production team.
  • Analyse data to identify potential risks and opportunities, and then promptly share this information with the team and management.
  • Create test reports to visualise data, help the team spot important opportunities and insights to guide future design and decision-making.
  • Explore and utilise AI-driven tools to automate repetitive testing tasks, identify patterns, and enhance test coverage.
  • Stay updated on current trends in AI for game development, such as automated playtesting, predictive analytics for bug detection, and natural language processing for feedback analysis.

Skills

  • Genuine interest in games and quality
  • Basic experience of playing games on mobile, consoles or PC.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Have some level of awareness about -
  • AI concepts and their application in quality assurance, including the use of AI-driven tools for automation and data analysis/prompting
