Job Summary
Frima, a multi-award-winning video game employer in Canada, is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst for one of its project teams. The role involves daily Scrum meetings, developing and executing test plans, tracking bug progress, analyzing test data for reports, creating quality KPIs dashboards, and contributing to continuous project improvement. Must Have
- Daily Scrum meetings with the project development team
- Development and execution of appropriate test plans
- Regular follow-up on reported bugs and updating test documentation
- Identification, collection, and analysis of test data for progress reports
- Creation and maintenance of dashboards presenting product quality KPIs
- Participation in continuous project improvement by providing constructive feedback
- Testing periods
- College diploma (DEC) in a relevant discipline
- Minimum of five (5) years in quality assurance in the video game field
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of different game types and platforms
- Good general computer knowledge
- Knowledge of Jira
- Knowledge of data analysis tools
- Good communication skills in French and English
- Ability to travel outside the country if necessary

Job Description

- Regular follow-up on reported bugs and updating test documentation;
- Identification, collection, and analysis of test data to prepare progress reports;
- Creation and maintenance of dashboards presenting KPIs related to product quality;
- Participation in continuous project improvement by providing constructive feedback on its quality and fun factor;
- Testing periods.
Qualifications
What we are looking for
- College diploma (DEC) in a relevant discipline;
- A minimum of five (5) years in quality assurance in the video game field;
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of different types and platforms of games as well as the stages related to game creation;
- Good general computer knowledge;
- Knowledge of Jira;
- Knowledge of data analysis tools;
- Good ability to communicate both orally and in writing, in French and English;
- Ability to travel outside the country if necessary.
