Job Summary

The NVOR admin role at Rocket Software focuses on Vendor Master Set up. This involves reviewing and ensuring compliance for new vendor onboarding and existing vendor renewals, collaborating with legal and Infosec teams. The role also includes training Rocket employees on vendor setup and renewal processes, and providing audit support. Key responsibilities include validating business responses, coordinating documentation, adhering to payment terms, and streamlining processes for efficient vendor management.

Must Have

  • Promptly review and action new vendor setup and vendor renewal requests
  • Validate responses regarding new vendor or renewal request
  • Review and coordinate with business for backup documentation
  • Respond to queries and provide support to requesters in respect to NVOR, Renewal and Purchasing process
  • Adherence to vendor payment terms as per Rocket standard terms
  • Coordinate for the vendor payment terms exception approval if required as per approval matrix
  • Regularly monitoring progress of open requests and follow up with users if required documentation is not received
  • Work closely with AP manager and AP/Finance Team to provide guidance and ensure prompt setup of vendors in Oracle
  • Send closed vendor documentation to legal team on monthly basis
  • Update, modify and maintain the process documentation (SOPs etc) in Rocket Intranet
  • Perform the monthly control related tasks as assigned by manager
  • Train requesters on new vendor or renewal request process
  • Automate and streamline the process as per requirements and process modifications
  • 7-8 years of experience in Vendor Master Management in global environment
  • Sound verbal & written communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
  • Having an eye for detail and ability to interact/adapt with changing requirements
  • Basic understanding of Contracts, SOW, legal terms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Proficient interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships
  • Have worked on reporting in Excel

This role would be required to perform review and compliances in onboarding new vendors and renewals of existing vendors in partnership with legal and Infosec teams at Rocket. Additionally, this role will require to train Rocket employees on vendor set up and renewals related awareness and also provide required audit support.

The New Vendor Onboarding Request (NVOR) admin role will be member of Vendor Master Set up at Rocket Software. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promptly review and action new vendor setup and vendor renewal requests initiated by business users by developing an understanding of services to be rendered by the vendor.
  • Validate the responses given by the business regarding the new vendor or renewal request.
  • Review and coordinate with the business for backup documentation before routing the request for approval.
  • Respond to queries and provide support to the requesters in respect to NVOR, Renewal and Purchasing process.
  • Adherence to vendor payment terms as per Rocket standard terms.
  • Coordinate for the vendor payment terms exception approval if required as per approval matrix.
