Quality Assurance Specialist (Manual Testing)

Loyalty Juggernaut Inc. (LJI) is a Silicon Valley-based product company. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for running manual tests, creating test cases, recording test results, and reporting defects. You will also be creating Jira-based reports and dashboards. Understanding SDLC, release cycles, branching strategies and driving testing projects are also part of the role. The company focuses on next-generation loyalty and customer engagement solutions, offering a dynamic and supportive work environment with opportunities to work with globally recognized brands.

Must Have

• Run Tests manually and test software
• Create Test Cases and record test results
• Record defects and monitor them until closure
• Create Jira-based reports, dashboards, etc.
• Understand SDLC, release cycle, branching strategy.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of manual testing experience.
• Strong analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt.
• Good to have API (postman) knowledge.

What you will OWN:

• Run Tests manually and test software 
• Create Test Cases and record test results Record defects and monitor them until closure
• Create Jira-based reports, dashboards, etc.
• Understand SDLC, release cycle, branching strategy, branches, and versions and use the knowledge for reliable testing
• Drive testing projects out of the Test Management tool

You would make a GREAT FIT if you:

• Have 0-1 year of experience
• Have knowledge of manual testing or have worked on academic or personal projects related to Manual testing
• Have a strong analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
