Job Description

Coupa is seeking a Regional Leader for Professional Services across EMEA & APAC. This critical leadership role involves shaping and growing Coupa’s services footprint, driving delivery excellence, customer impact, and partner success. The leader will lead and scale solution architect teams, provide sales support, manage project portfolios, and engage partners. They will collaborate globally to scale presence and performance, reporting to the Global Head of Solution Architecture. The ideal candidate has experience scaling global Professional Services teams and demonstrated thought leadership in Solution Delivery and Customer Success strategies.

  • Partner with global PS leadership, Pre-Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Partners.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Coupa leadership, customers, and partners.
  • Shape regional strategies for enterprise delivery models.
  • 12+ years of experience in consulting and services leadership.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise SaaS, procurement, or spend management.
  • Proven success managing regional services organizations and delivering against financial and business KPIs.
  • Skilled at leading through influence and thriving in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Exceptional communicator and relationship builder with strong executive and stakeholder management.
  • Strong business development mindset with hands-on experience supporting pre-sales, services scoping, and solutioning.

The Impact of a Regional Leader, Professional Services - EMEA & APAC at Coupa:

We are looking for a proven leader to shape and grow Coupa’s Professional Services footprint across EMEA and Asia-Pacific. In this critical leadership role, you’ll be the region’s top services voice and responsible for driving delivery excellence, customer impact, and partner success. You’ll lead and scale our solution architect teams in Europe and Asia-Pacific as well as provide sales support, project portfolio management, resource planning, and partner engagement, while working shoulder-to-shoulder with global delivery, product, and go-to-market teams to scale our presence and performance. This role reports directly to the Global Head of Solution Architecture.

The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with experience in scaling global Professional Services teams, demonstrated thought leadership in Solution Delivery and Customer Success strategies, and a proven track record of successful execution in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead, inspire, mentor, and scale a geographically distributed team of consultants and leaders – ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality, value-added implementations, and driving customer outcomes.
  • Build Tomorrow Together by fostering collaboration, skill growth, leadership development, excellence, and customer-centricity while creating a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as Delivery Executive Sponsor for strategic and enterprise customers and partner-led engagements across EMEA & APAC, ensuring delivery excellence, customer satisfaction, and measurable business outcomes while providing escalation leadership and building trusted advisor relationships with customer executives.
  • Champion Coupa’s methodology, governance, and best practices across the region and ensure learnings and feedback loops through coordinated project 360 reviews.
  • Contribute to P&L management for the EMEA & APAC Professional Services organization, contributing to revenue, margin, utilization, and backlog health, while balancing growth and delivery quality and forecast, manage and report on the solution architect team’s financial performance against regional targets.
  • Drive effective staffing processes, advocate for strategic headcount growth, and optimize partner utilization across the regions.
  • Work effectively in Coupa’s global model, partnering with global PS leadership, Pre-Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Partners to deliver consistent outcomes and contributing to global strategy, thought leadership, and transformation initiatives -- driving adoption of global services initiatives in the region, tailoring for EMEA & APAC market realities, as needed
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Coupa leadership, customers, and partners, bringing forward new ideas, market insights, and innovative approaches to services delivery. Shape regional strategies for enterprise delivery models (Coupa direct, Partner Co-Delivery) and partner with the Partner Ecosystem and Alliances teams to extend reach and scale.

What You Will Bring to Coupa:

  • 12+ years of experience in consulting and services leadership, with deep expertise in enterprise SaaS, procurement, or spend management and proven success managing regional services organizations and delivering against financial and business KPIs.
  • Skilled at leading through influence and thriving in a global, matrixed environment, being an exceptional communicator and relationship builder, with strong executive (C-level) and stakeholder management experience across regions and cultures.
  • Strong business development mindset with hands-on experience supporting pre-sales, services scoping, and solutioning having demonstrated a track record of driving growth in direct-delivery services as well as partnering effectively in partner-led models.
  • Deep understanding of project delivery methodologies and customer success principles and a data-driven decision maker who balances short-term execution with long-term strategy.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and adept at driving clarity, alignment, and results across diverse teams as well as being a strategic thinker who challenges traditional models and innovates to achieve customer and business outcomes.
