Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive Revenue Accountant to manage billing, revenue recognition, and collections within our iGaming business. This role involves ensuring accurate invoicing, resolving billing discrepancies, and maintaining strong cash flow through effective credit control. You will also support month-end close processes, prepare reconciliations and reports, and provide key insights into revenue performance and trends, working closely with the wider finance team.
Must Have
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing of customers
- Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or revenue-related queries
- Manage customer credit notes and ensure proper approval and documentation
- Monitor accounts receivable and proactively manage customer collections to maintain cash flows
- Contact customers directly regarding overdue payments in a professional and customer-focused manner
- Escalate problem accounts and support the implementation of effective credit control procedures
- Maintain and reconcile deferred revenue, accrued income, and unbilled revenue accounts
- Prepare month-end journals and revenue-related reconciliations
- Support monthly and quarterly close processes with detailed revenue schedules and analyses
- Prepare detailed revenue and collections reports for management, highlighting key trends and risks
- Support forecasting and budgeting of revenue and cash receipts
- Provide insights into revenue drivers, billing efficiency, and debtor ageing
- Assist in audit preparation, including revenue and receivables documentation
- Proven experience in posting and processing invoices, and tracking payments across major finance platforms
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Understanding of invoice workflows and payment processes, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working on-site in London 3–4 days a week
