Job Description

This role is for a Level Designer in Hangzhou, responsible for the full lifecycle of level development in ARPG games, from white box to final implementation. Key tasks include designing and optimizing level gameplay, collaborating with cross-functional teams for scene and monster design, and establishing random map rules and design standards. The ideal candidate will have over three years of ARPG level development experience, a strong aesthetic sense, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a passion for dark treasure hunting games.
Must have:
  • Responsible for level white box construction to formal resource implementation.
  • Design, track development, and optimize level gameplay.
  • Collaborate with IP writers, artists, and combat designers for scene and monster design.
  • Formulate random map rules and promote functional development.
  • Formulate level design specifications and improve production efficiency.
  • Over three years of ARPG level development experience.
  • Ability to create level white boxes and independently implement levels.
  • Familiar with dark fantasy themes and art styles.
  • Meticulous logical thinking, strong stress resistance, and communication skills.
  • Strong game deconstruction ability and high self-pursuit for quality.
Good to have:
  • Familiar with and fond of dark treasure hunting games, preferred if played for over 1000 hours.

1. Responsible for the entire process from level white box construction to formal resource implementation, and responsible for the final performance.

2. Responsible for the design, development tracking, and iterative optimization of level gameplay, and responsible for the final performance.

3. Collaborate with IP writers, artists, and combat designers to produce scene theme designs, scene art requirements, and monster appearance requirements, and follow up on subsequent production.

4. Responsible for the formulation of random map rules and the promotion of functional development.

5. Formulate level design specifications, improve the production efficiency of the level pipeline, and accumulate relevant methodologies.

Job Requirements

1. More than three years of experience in ARPG level development, with the ability to create level white boxes, and independently responsible for the complete implementation of levels.

2. Familiar with dark fantasy themes and art styles, able to provide clear design references, and possess high aesthetic appreciation.

3. Meticulous logical thinking, strong stress resistance, and strong communication skills. Strong game deconstruction ability and high self-pursuit for quality.

4. Familiar with and fond of dark treasure hunting games, preferred if played for over 1000 hours.
