Job Description

The Scene Model Designer for MLBB will be responsible for creating 3D low-poly models and textures based on original art, as well as high-poly models for baking and game display interfaces. This role involves providing technical support for scene production, collaborating with technical artists and level designers on workflows, and overseeing external/outsourced production quality. Candidates should have over 3 years of experience in scene modeling, be proficient in next-gen game production processes, possess strong hand-painting skills, and be adept with industry-standard software like MAYA/MAX, ZBRUSH, Photoshop, and Substance Painter 2.
Must have:
  • Responsible for 3D low-poly models and textures based on original art
  • Responsible for technical support for scene production, researching and formulating reasonable production methods with TA, and having insights into 3D presentation
  • Responsible for high-poly model production, normal baking, high-low model baking effects based on original art
  • Responsible for high-low model production for game display interfaces based on original art
  • Collaborate with original art and level designers to formulate and adjust reasonable workflows
  • Responsible for liaising with external/outsourcing to improve the quality of external/outsourced production
  • 3+ years of scene model work experience
  • Familiar with next-gen game production process
  • Ability to produce different styles (hand-painted semi-realistic)
  • Strong hand-painting ability
  • Proficient in mainstream production software (MAYA/MAX, ZBRUSH, Photoshop, Substance Painter 2)
Good to have:
  • PBR texture experience
  • Unity3D engine experience

2. Responsible for technical support for scene production within the project, researching and formulating reasonable production methods with TA, and having insights into 3D presentation.

3. Refer to the original art, responsible for high-poly model production, normal baking, and high-low model baking effects within the game.

4. Refer to the original art, responsible for high-low model production for game display interfaces.

5. Collaborate with original art and level designers to formulate and adjust reasonable workflows.

6. Responsible for liaising with external/outsourcing to improve the quality of external/outsourced production.

Job Requirements

1. 3+ years of scene model work experience.

2. Familiar with next-gen game production processes, capable of producing different styles (the project currently requires a hand-painted semi-realistic style), with strong hand-painting ability; PBR texture experience is preferred.

3. Possess profound game art foundation, rich imagination, and excellent art appreciation ability.

4. Proficient in mainstream production software such as MAYA or MAX, ZBRUSH, Photoshop, Substance Painter 2.

5. Experience with Unity3D engine is preferred.

6. Good communication and comprehension skills, team spirit, and ability to withstand high-intensity work pressure.
