Job Summary

We are seeking a WebMethods Support Engineer to manage and resolve integration support tickets, debug issues, and perform minor code changes. The role involves understanding and modifying existing integration code, performing root cause analysis, handling code enhancements, and monitoring system health. The candidate will coordinate with architects and functional teams, participate in unit testing, document issues, and follow ITIL processes for incident, change, and release management. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with WebMethods Integration Server are essential.

Must Have

  • Manage and resolve integration support tickets independently and efficiently
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes for production issues
  • Handle code changes and enhancements as part of approved change requests (CRs)
  • Modify and test integration components with working knowledge of WebMethods Flow Services
  • Identify and suggest fixes for repetitive manual tasks or recurring issues
  • Monitor system health, logs, and performance; proactively address potential problems
  • Coordinate with integration architects and functional teams to resolve system-related issues
  • Participate in unit testing for code changes and ensure stability of integration flows
  • Document recurring issues, fixes, and troubleshooting steps to build internal knowledge base
  • Support routine activities such as patching, service restarts, and maintenance tasks
  • Follow ITIL-based processes for incident, change, and release management
  • Escalate complex issues appropriately and coordinate with platform owners or external vendors if needed
  • Communicate clearly with business and technical stakeholders, providing timely updates
  • 7+ years of experience with WebMethods Integration Server and related components
  • Strong debugging, log analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to understand and update integration code
  • Familiarity with support ticketing systems and basic ITIL practices
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • 7 years of experience in development and integration solutions support
  • 4 years of experience developing with Flow services and portal technologies
  • 4 years of experience in developing SOAP/REST web services
  • 4 years of experience with transmission protocols (http/s ftp/s sftp)
  • Strong experience in handling API Gateway configurations and support (mandatory)
