Job Description

SimpliSafe is a high-tech home security company focused on protecting homes and fostering career growth. We operate on a hybrid work model, requiring in-office presence two days a week. We are expanding and seeking talented individuals to join our mission. As a Sales Account Specialist, you will be a crucial link between sales and operations, supporting existing and onboarding new retail accounts to drive long-term sales growth. You will build relationships, provide excellent customer service, and support retail expansion, reporting to the Director, Retail Sales Operations.

Must Have:
  • Manage Purchase Order acceptance and inventory using NetSuite and SPS Commerce, resolving discrepancies.
  • Resolve chargebacks and returns with cross-functional teams, meeting annual targets.
  • Support sales in account management and issue resolution.
  • Manage Amazon Transparency and assist with reseller mitigation.
  • Resolve Amazon Operational Issues and Amazon Seller Central Orders.
  • Manage inventory using Alloy and NetSuite, oversee production planning, and resolve daily issues.
  • Support forecasting and demand planning using Alloy.
  • Support account onboarding, including sales, marketing, and operational setup (e.g., EDI setup, ERP configuration, UPC/Sku creation support).

Your Role

As a key link between sales and operations, you'll support existing and onboard new retail accounts to drive long-term sales growth. You’ll build internal and external relationships, provide excellent customer service, and support retail expansion. You'll report to the Director, Retail Sales Operations and collaborate with sales, finance, and warehouse teams.

What You'll Do

  • Purchase Order Management: Entire Channel Manage PO acceptance and inventory using NetSuite and SPS Commerce, resolving discrepancies
  • Chargebacks & Returns: Resolve chargebacks/returns with cross-functional teams, meeting annual targets.

Sales and Ops Team Support; Support sales in account management and issue resolution

  • Amazon Management: Manage Amazon Transparency and assist with reseller mitigation.Amazon Operational Issue resolution + Amazon Seller Central Orders
  • Inventory & Operations: Manage inventory using Alloy and NetSuite, oversee production planning, and resolve daily issues.
  • Forecasting & Planning: Support forecasting and demand planning using Alloy.
  • Account Onboarding: Support account onboarding, including sales/marketing/operational setup (e.g., EDI setup, ERP configuration, UPC/Sku creation support).

Experience and Skills

  • 3+ years in sales account planning or related field.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Confidentiality and sound judgment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
