Job Description

As a Sales Development Advisor, you will be the primary support for UK customers, combining customer service with proactive sales. You will handle customer inquiries, provide high-quality service, engage with existing and potential clients, and identify cross-selling opportunities. Responsibilities include managing your customer portfolio, contributing to sales objectives, participating in projects, and managing data in Salesforce. You will also analyze customer insights and occasionally attend events.
Must have:
  • Handle a variety of customer questions and requests quickly and professionally
  • Provide high-quality, customer-focused service that contributes to retention and satisfaction
  • Actively engage with existing and potential customers
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to grow customer accounts
  • Follow up on your own customer portfolio
  • Contribute to sales objectives through proactive prospecting and participation in marketing campaigns
  • Participate in sales-related projects
  • Register and manage customer data and documentation in Salesforce
  • Analyse customer insights and sales data to detect new opportunities
  • Occasionally welcome customers at the office or attend trade fairs/events
Good to have:

Your Role

As a Sales Development Advisor, you are the first line of support for our UK customers. You combine customer-centric service with a proactive sales drive, helping customers find the right solutions while developing long-term relationships.

You will:

  • Handle a variety of customer questions and requests quickly and professionally
  • Provide high-quality, customer-focused service that contributes to retention and satisfaction
  • Actively engage with existing and potential customers (no cold calling – often there is already a connection)
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to grow customer accounts
  • Follow up on your own customer portfolio, ensuring development before transferring accounts to Customer Care
  • Contribute to sales objectives through proactive prospecting and participation in marketing campaigns
  • Participate in sales-related projects (e.g., CX ambassadorship, market initiatives)
  • Register and manage customer data and documentation in Salesforce
  • Analyse customer insights and sales data to detect new opportunities
  • Occasionally welcome customers at the office or attend trade fairs/events

Your Profile

  • A proactive and curious mindset: you don’t just wait for work to come to you, you take initiative
  • Strong communication skills: polite, customer-oriented, yet assertive when needed
  • Driven by results, eager to build and maintain customer relationships
  • A natural problem solver who dares to ask questions and dig deeper
  • Languages:
  • English: excellent written and spoken level (essential)
  • Dutch: nice to have, but not required
  • Experience with the UK market is not necessary – the approach is similar to our BE operations
  • Sales experience is a plus, but motivation and drive are most important – school leavers are welcome
