Job Description

The Sales Executive will report to an Executive Director of Sales, focusing on generating new and add-on sales revenue. This involves creating compelling value propositions, messaging, and presentations that align CSG Communication Design and Delivery with customer go-to-market strategies. The role requires owning a book of business, generating and closing opportunities, managing client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment and successful campaign execution. The executive will also build a sales pipeline, manage pricing, and stay informed on market trends and competitors.
Must Have:

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

You will report to an Executive Director of Sales to generate new sales and add-on sales revenue through the creation of unique and compelling value propositions, messaging and positioning documents, and presentations that align CSG Communication Design and Delivery with our customers’ go-to-market strategies and that position CSG as the preferred provider in our target markets.

We are looking for a Sales Executive who will:

  • Own a book of business to leverage for obtaining sales goals
  • Generate opportunities within the book of business and close sales
  • Travel to client meetings and conferences
  • Presentations on products to clients
  • Manage promotional outreach to clients and internal customers (CDMs) to support existing clients/verticals
  • Work with internal Client Business Units on activities with each customer to ensure alignment and visibility
  • Work with the internal team on quotes and timelines for opportunities and execution of campaigns and closed opportunities
  • Build a pipeline within our Salesforce sales tool (or other application) of prospective clients/opportunities and assist with forecasting revenue
  • Set up client with appropriate pricing, allowing for medium margins to be generated while following the card rules, regulations and guidelines
  • Research and study competitors and know our differentiators
  • Understand current market trends and industry challenges to provide CSG solutions that fit client needs
  • Manage your time effectively to complete your tasks
  • Communicate effectively with your manager to include when problems are not resolved for your clients in a timely manner
  • Maintain a good knowledge of the products that we offer and provide feedback for additional products that are required for your continued success in selling

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Sales Executive
  • Marketing background; understanding of Marketing principles
  • Familiarity with the print processing industry and experience in the cable/telecommunications services space
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
