QuinStreet is seeking an ethical, dependable, and diligent Sales Operations Analyst for a 6-month contract-to-hire role. The analyst will assist in the administration of variable compensation plans, ensuring timely processing. Responsibilities include partnering with various departments for data collection, inputting data into the commission platform, and performing tasks to support compensation plan administration. The role also involves providing general support to the sales team, assisting the A/P team, and supporting the Sales Operations team. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, possess excellent organizational skills, and be able to handle repetitive tasks with high accuracy. Proficiency in Excel, basic SQL skills, and the ability to analyze large datasets are required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with diverse groups.
Must have:
  • Work 8-5pm PDT
  • B.S. or equivalent experience in business, finance, or related discipline
  • Proficient in Excel (lookups, pivot tables, data tables, sumifs)
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented
  • Perform repetitive tasks with extremely high accuracy
  • Basic SQL skills
  • Confident reviewing, sorting, and analyzing large data sets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Interact professionally with diverse groups, executives, sales managers, and Engineering team

We are seeking an ethical, dependable and diligent individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, growing company. This person must have the ability to quickly grasp the business needs and issues, be comfortable interpreting meaning and relevance from raw data, and present information in an understandable and consistent method. A successful candidate will have a work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations, the ability to multitask and self-motivate, and have a flexible, can-do attitude.

This position is a 6-month contract-to-hire role.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the administration of the variable compensation plans
  • Contribute to making sure that all variable compensation is processed in a timely manner
  • Partner with various departments around the collection of data that feeds into our commission platform and process
  • Correctly input data into our commission platform
  • Perform various tasks in support of the administration of the compensation plans
  • Provide general support for the sales team as it relates to the role
  • Assist the A/P team as needed
  • Support the Sales Operations team as needed

Requirements

  • Must be able to work 8-5pm PDT
  • B.S. or equivalent experience in business, finance, or related discipline
  • Must be proficient in Excel (lookups, using pivot tables, working with data tables, sumifs)
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Must have excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, and able to perform repetitive tasks with extremely high accuracy
  • Basic SQL skills (some experience with writing scripts)
  • Need to confident in reviewing, sorting and analyzing large data sets
  • Basic accounting knowledge a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups, executives, sales managers, and Engineering team
  • A background in Sales Operations, finance and/or Business Planning (Operations), plus
  • Positive attitude, team player, ability to communicate cross functionally
  • Effective presentation, organizational, planning skills, and interpersonal skills

 

The expected salary range for this position is $55,000 USD to $70,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.
