Job Description

The Sales Operations Manager, Devices and Services, will collaborate with sales, demand planning, and go-to-market teams to develop and maintain precise weekly, quarterly, and annual forecasts. Responsibilities include owning planning assumptions, incorporating top-down guidance, market trends, and engaged insights. The role involves leading performance reviews, analyzing sales performance, and contributing to planning initiatives. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and a proactive approach to process improvement to enable data-driven decision-making. The role focuses on improving forecast accuracy, refining KPIs, and driving data-driven decisions across the business, also leading the annual planning cycle at the cluster level.
Must have:
  • Demand forecasting (weekly, quarterly, annual)
  • Sales data analysis and performance review
  • Collaboration with sales & demand planning teams
  • Process improvement and data-driven decision making
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years in demand planning or supply chain
Good to have:
  • Telecommunications industry experience
  • Project management and business process re-engineering
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting or supply chain within the hardware, e-commerce, telco, consumer electronics or fashion industry.
  • Experience building confidence forecasts that incorporate baseline models, promo/event lifts, pricing elasticity, new product introductions, channel insights, and participant analysis.
  • Experience in spreadsheet software, including Google Sheets or similar, with data manipulation, analysis, and reporting capabilities.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Experience as a change agent, including experience in project management and business process re-engineering.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to drive decisions with data experience.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain consensus driven demand forecasts (weekly, quarterly, annual) in close collaboration with sales, demand planning, GTM and finance.
  • Lead weekly performance reviews, analyse sales data against forecasts, and communicate insights and performance updates to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on demand scenarios and product mix strategies to inform planning and bottoms-up forecasting.
  • Improve sales planning processes; focusing on forecast accuracy, KPI refinement, driving and enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Lead the annual planning cycle at the cluster level, analyse trends and contribute to the development of business targets aligned with company objectives.
