Job Summary
Paytm is seeking a Sales Team Lead for its Oil & Gas vertical, focusing on offline payment solutions using QR codes and POS machines. The role involves onboarding and managing petrol/gas station merchants and other retail businesses, maintaining relationships with PSU companies, and driving end-to-end sales and operations. The Sales Team Lead will be responsible for developing business strategies, achieving sales goals, managing sales teams, defining sales force structure, implementing training programs, managing customer expectations, and improving sales processes. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of distribution sales experience in fintech, banking, or EDC sales, with strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Must Have
- 3+ years of distribution sales experience in fintech, banking, or EDC sales.
- Experience educating merchants on swipe machine benefits.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage sales strategy execution.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Good to Have
- Educating merchants on Swipe machine (EDC) benefits
- Converting and managing merchant accounts
- Graduation/Post Graduation preferred
