Project description / role / missions

As Secure ID Documents Regional Leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of 5 pre-sales consultants and project managers in the field of secure identity documents (ID cards, passports, driving licenses, etc.). For the region for which you are responsible, you will contribute to pre-sales technical support for customers, responses to calls for tender, successful execution of projects and monitoring of contract performance.

This position requires initiative and leadership, and the ability to develop a network sufficient to influence and facilitate problem solving. You need to be proactively involved in day-to-day technical issues and crisis resolution. This requires a good understanding of the customer's needs, a perfect knowledge of the Thales offering, negotiation skills and the ability to develop long-term relationships with our customers. Tasks will include:

• Carry out resource allocation;
• Support and monitor the team in the pre-sales, project and contract management phases;
• Ensure participation in team skills development.

Your profile

You have an engineering degree in computer science, electronics or equivalent, and at least 5 years' experience in product or project management, in an international environment and on complex projects. Expected skills include

• Smart card operating systems and embedded applications,
• ISO Smart Card standards, Global Platform, ICAO, PKI, biometrics and cryptography,
• Digital security and document security (identity, banking, etc.),
• Secure printing on plastic and paper, security features,
• Understanding of industrial production constraints,
• PMP, iPMA certification or equivalent
