Job Description

As a Security Engineering – Senior Engineer, you are an expert in the Information, Engineering and Cyber Security domains, applying your extensive knowledge in security technologies, cloud and corporate networks to shape the security controls required within solution designs (both people, process and technical) and identify, communicate and help treat corresponding security risks. Through your strong knowledge of existing and emerging technology, you are able deliver a superior security and network experience for our consumers. You do this by drawing on your deep levels of cyber security and engineering knowledge and experience to provide specialist analysis, design, development and deployment in Network and IT specific technology domains. You play a pivotal role in shaping our technology strategy and protecting Telstra’s assets, acting as a trusted adviser to our people, teams, cyber, engineering and DevOps leaders to build our cyber capability.
Must have:
  • Guide other Identity engineers and lead in SailPoint solution development and integration.
  • Lead integration, configuration, and implementations of IGA solution.
  • Develop and enhance patterns of integrations with various target systems.
  • Analyse and advise on Identity requirements for internal customers.
  • Prepare detailed work instructions for production deployments.
  • Maintain tracking and traceability between requirements, design, and test cases.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with SailPoint IIQ in large enterprise.
  • Demonstrate delivery of solutions for application integrations with enhanced user experience and automation.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Directory technologies.
  • Demonstrate delivery of solutions for integration of applications with third-party Directory solutions.
  • Familiarity with other Identity Access Governance (IGA) Capabilities.
  • Experience with policy servers, secure edge and related Technologies.
  • Experience with cloud and CI/CD tools and technologies.
  • Develop concepts following Agile practices and adaptive plans.
  • Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Test concepts with customers continually using showcases and demos.
  • Incorporate feedback throughout the development cycle.
  • Follow reporting process on agreed Agile metrics.
  • Clearly explain and present ideas/arguments.
  • Adapt communication style and message to meet audience needs.
  • Actively listen to others and address concerns.
  • Understand problems, explore root causes, and evaluate solutions.
  • Experience with various programming languages and operating systems in identity environment.

Key Accountabilities

Include:

  • As the Senior Engineer - IGA, you will guide the other Identity engineers and lead in the development and

integration of SailPoint solution with Telstra internal systems with a strong focus on automation.

  • Lead the integration, configuration, and implementations of IGA solution. Develop and enhance patterns of

integrations with various target systems for rapid onboarding using out of the box capabilities.

  • Analyse and advise on Identity requirements to ensure effective and appropriate solutions are being provided to

the internal customers during application onboarding.

  • Prepare detailed work instructions for production deployments of SailPoint integrations.
  • Maintain tracking and traceability between requirements, design, and test cases to demonstrate evidence of

milestones to achieve solutions

Skills essential to this role

  • Extensive hands-on experience with SailPoint IIQ and solutions in

a large enterprise environment.

  • Be able to demonstrate a delivery of solutions for application

integrations with enhanced user experience and automation in

focus.

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Directory technologies
  • Be able to demonstrate a delivery of solutions for integration of applications (including Identity Providers) with third-party Directory solutions.
  • Familiarity with other Identity Access Governance (IGA)

Capabilities. Be able to demonstrate understanding of IGA tools to the level

required to successfully deliver IGA integrations

  • Experience with policy servers, secure edge and related

Technologies.

  • Experience with cloud and CI/CD tools and technologies.
