Job Description

Joyteractive seeks a Segmentation Producer to lead the development and implementation of a personalization strategy for their flagship puzzle game. Responsibilities include developing a personalization strategy aligned with business goals, overseeing data collection and analysis to generate actionable insights, working with development teams to integrate personalization features, adjusting gameplay to match player profiles, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and continuously testing personalization features using A/B testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background in gaming or digital products, proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and experience with A/B testing and experiment design. A solid understanding of game design, live ops, and monetization is also essential. The role requires cross-functional collaboration and awareness of data privacy regulations.

We are looking for a skilled Segmentation Producer to lead the development and implementation of a personalization strategy, acting as the business owner of this direction to enhance player engagement and align with our business goals.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate real-time personalization features, analyze data, and continuously optimize the player experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a clear personalization strategy that aligns with game design and business goals, setting clear KPIs for success.

  • Oversee data and player feedback collection, analyzing it to generate actionable insights.

  • Work with development teams to integrate real-time personalization features without affecting game performance.

  • Adjust gameplay, difficulty, content, and rewards to match individual player profiles, boosting engagement and retention.

  • Coordinate with product, marketing, and support teams to ensure everyone is aligned with personalization goals.

  • Continuously test personalization features using methods like A/B testing to maintain high quality and user satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics, Game Design, or a related field.

  • Analytical Experience: 3+ years in data analytics or a similar role, ideally within gaming or digital products.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in SQL, Python/R, statistical analysis, and familiarity with machine learning methods.

  • A/B Testing & Experimentation: Proven track record in designing, running, and interpreting experiments to optimize user engagement and LTV.

  • Game Design & Monetization Understanding: Solid grasp of core gameplay loops, Live Ops strategies, and monetization frameworks.

  • Segment Management: Experience building, maintaining, and refining user segments to drive personalization and revenue growth.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work with Product, Game Design, Marketing, and Data Science teams to align on goals and deliver actionable insights.

  • Compliance Awareness: Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and best practices in handling user data.

Will be a plus:

  • English B2.

  • Advanced Machine Learning: Expertise in more sophisticated modeling (predictive analytics, deep learning) to enhance segmentation and personalization.

  • Ad Monetization Experience: Familiarity with ad networks, mediation platforms, and optimizing ad placements for revenue growth.

  • Proven experience in a role as a Game Producer or Product Manager, including taking responsibility for the development and integration of new game features as a feature owner.
