Job Description

This position is for a Senior Supply Chain Engineer within Intel's Advanced Packaging Materials group, part of the Global Materials Organization. The role involves developing and executing supply chain strategies, ensuring supplier readiness for cost, quality, availability, technology, and environmental leadership. Key responsibilities include collaborating with Technology Development, mitigating supply chain risks, managing supplier change controls, analyzing cost structures, understanding manufacturing processes, leading quality excursion management, applying SPC, evaluating supplier quality systems, assessing ramp readiness, gathering market intelligence, participating in supplier selection, managing IP, driving problem-solving, and leading negotiations.
Good To Have:
  • Knowledge and application of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE)
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations
  • Familiarity with semiconductor assembly and packaging processes and materials, including wafer-level packaging
  • Experience in supply chain or supplier management, particularly with suppliers based in East Asia

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience applying Model-Based Problem Solving (MBPS) in a professional setting.
  • At least 2 years of experience communicating with stakeholders, including strong presentation and clear communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

The following qualifications are not required but will be considered a plus in identifying top candidates:

  • Knowledge and application of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE).
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations.
