We're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Accounting, you'll be responsible for:
- Participate in month-end close activities by ensuring transactions are recorded. and support cross-functional teams with journal entry posting and account analysis.
- Own the tracking, capitalizing, and amortization of developed software costs and identify automation opportunities while engaging and collaborating with accounting transformation team members to build scalable and transformational processes.
- Prepare international consolidations, elimination journal entries, account reconciliations and ensure outstanding reconciling items are cleared.
- Create new cost centers and chart of accounts; perform expense analysis and commentary to explain what's going on in the business for P&L accounts.
- Assist in audit activities with internal and external auditors.
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 5+ years of experience including familiarity with areas of general accounting, inter-company transactions, account reconciliations, multi-currency consolidations, and financial reporting.
- Advanced MS Office skills, emphasis on Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and Access
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Working knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems (NetSuite, Coupa, FloQast, and Tableau)

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
