Your Mission
- Design, create, and implement high-quality sound effects.
- Record, Edit, design, and mix audio assets, ambient environments, and Foley.
- Work collaboratively with other sound designers to maintain a consistent audio vision and pipeline.
- Implement audio into games using FMOD/Wwise, Unreal's Metasounds, and Unity's built in audio system.
- Collaborate with design, art, code and other departments to establish the creative and technical audio direction
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize audio performance across different platforms.
- Mentor and provide feedback on audio design within the team.
Skills and knowledge required
Essential
- Proven experience as an audio designer in the games industry.
- Advanced audio manipulation skills in Reaper or equivalent DAW.
- Expert knowledge of audio editing software including RX Advanced, Soundforge or similar.
- Working knowledge of audio middleware - e.g. FMOD and Wwise.
- Working knowledge of game engines such as Unity and Unreal.
- Excellent understanding of game audio pipelines, adaptive audio, and technical implementation.
- Ability to mix and ship games in Mono, Stereo and Surround configurations
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a remote team environment.
- Creative mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working with source control tools - e.g. Sourcetree and Perforce.
- Working solo or with engineer assistance to implement sounds in game.
Desirable
- Experience with audio scripting tools and languages.
- Music composition.

- We will require all applicants to have a pre-existing right to work in the UK.
- The role will initially be a 12 month Fixed Term contract with the potential to extend after this.
